Phuket 2021

Golden Fly Series Phuket presented by SAT.

After some postponements due to corona-restrictions, the first Golden Fly Series Tour Stop in Thailand was successfully realised on 4th December 2021 on holyday paradise island Phuket.
In accordance with Golden Fly Series’ successful concept, a field of world-class cast of male and female pole vault and long jump athletes participated at the beach event at Patong Viewpoint.

Ladies Pole Vault was lightened by the appearance of Olympic Medallist Holly Bradshaw/GBR, which took the win with 4.51 m, followed by Kristen Brown/USA and Natalie Uy/PHI with 4.21 m.

Men`s Pole Vault was headed by a great clash between US Top-Vaulters. At the end, Austin Miller was successful with season best of 5.70m, ahead of Jacob Wooten and Matt Ludwig, which shared 5.60 m.

Long Jump women saw Nastassia Mironchyk-Ivanova/BLR as winner with 6.45 m, second place to Maria Natalia Londa/IND with 6.35 m and third Parinya Chuaimaroeng/THA with 5.91 m.

Men´s long jump delivered a dramatically final. Local hero Suttisak Singkhon/THA took the win with his last jump of 7.59 m. Second place to James Lelliot/GBR with 7.54 m and third place to Yaroslav Isachenko/UKR with 7.46 m.
